A Message From The Founder!
Having spent more than a decade caring for cancer patients, over the years I noticed night sweats were a common and uncomfortable side effect of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
You can give patients tablets for nausea and for other side effects but there was nothing for night sweats.
This inspired me to research and find a product that would help with the night sweats issue.
I stumbled across pyjamas that claimed to help those who overheated and suffered night sweats.
Not in a million years did I expect to find pyjamas as a solution. The company was in the U.S so I ordered a pair to try myself, as I was also sweating at night, thanks to menopause.
Then all my “sweaty” friends wanted them, so I had them tested to see just how good they were. As I suspected, they were not only cooling, quick drying and temperature regulating but also antibacterial so they stayed fresh and odour free.
The greatest test for me was giving them to a patient to try out, who I knew was suffering quite a bit. When she came back nearly crying with the relief, I knew I wanted to let all night sweat sufferers know about the product.
This was the start of Cool-jams™ in Australia and of course my a-ha moment! If these pj’s helped me, what about all the other men and women who get overheated at night?
